da cassino online： Some Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to hijack the club’s tweet in celebration of Jairo Riedewald’s birthday.
Whilst it is fairly standard procedure on a football club’s official account to celebrate a player’s birthday, the situation of the man it is aimed at is not a standard one by any means.
Riedewald has made just 12 Premier League appearances since signing for the Eagles back in 2017, and finds himself well out of favour under Roy Hodgson.
The Dutchman, signed from Ajax for £7.9m, has made just two appearances in 2019 as he struggles to get any sort of game time under the former England manager, despite being able to play in midfield, at centre-back or at left-back as he did in his last outing against Colchester – even that showing was because of injuries to Joel Ward, Patrick van Aanholt and Jeffrey Schlupp.
As a result of the 23-year-old’s situation, some Palace fans have hijacked the post. One fan suggested giving him his career back as a present, whilst another simply asked: “Who is this man?”
