da 888casino: The Champions League returns this week for Leicester City, giving them a welcome distraction from their woeful defence of the Premier League title, and the Foxes are on the brink of qualifying for the knock-out rounds.
da bet7: Having secured ten points from their four matches so far, Leicester require just one point from their final two games to seal their place in the latter stages of the competition and will fancy their chances against a side who’s European dreams are almost dead.
Club Brugges require two wins from their final two games to even finish third in the table, so Leicester are favourites to secure a historic result that would see the Foxes march on to continue their European dream.
Given their form in the Premier League though, Claudio Ranieri’s side need to focus on fighting on both fronts and Tuesday’s game against a lesser opponent gives the Italian boss the perfect chance to shake things up.
Possessing a very capable squad, fringe players should be able to get the result Leicester need and these four players deserve a chance on Tuesday night…
Demarai Gray
Since moving to the Premier League champions from Birmingham City in January, the 20-year-old winger has had to endure limited opportunities.
However, this season he’s had increased time on the field and he should continue to get his chance against Club Brugges on Tuesday.
With seven Premier League appearances and a further two in Europe this season, Gray is well accustomed to playing in the first-team and he can thrive when given further opportunities. Increased football will help Gray fulfill his potential, which can only be good news for Gray.
If Leicester to field an experimental side tomorrow, then Gray can provide the difference.
Bartosz Kapustka
The 19-year-old Polish sensation arrived at Leicester this summer but is yet to make his debut for the Foxes. Kapustka has remained optimistic, has put his head down and worked to force his way into the side – and deserves his chance.
Kapustka starred for Poland in the European Championships over the summer, which shows he’s capable of performing on the big stage, and he should be able to dictate play in a game against Brugges. Like Gray, he could provide the decisive impact whilst allowing the more senior players a break.
Jeffrey Schlupp
The 23-year-old Ghanian was previously an accustomed first-team regular within Claudio Ranieri’s side but has seen opportunities limited over the past few seasons, having made just three starts across all competitions this season. With that leading to speculation he could leave in January, the Foxes face a tricky prospect.
Due to his age, Schlupp is a brilliant player to have within the squad and can develop into an important player within the team. However, he needs to be given those chances.
In the summer, he was told he remains a part of Ranieri’s side, with two bids rejected for his services, and Leicester now need to show that is the case by giving the African more regular opportunities within the first-team.
Daniel Amartey
A fairly obvious choice considering he’s made 14 appearances for the Foxes already this season but Daniel Amartey cannot be dropped. Whilst he’s yet to register a goal or an assist, continued football for the 21-year-old will only be a good thing for Amartey’s development.
The youngster has been an ever-present figure in Claudio Ranieri’s side this season and he looks set to become a top-class player in the coming years. Filling the void left by N’Golo Kante’s departure to Chelsea over the summer, Amartey could be due a high profile transfer of his own in the future.
A vital cog in the Leicester machine, Amartey needs to be one of the first names on the team-sheet.
