Sunderland have uncovered a gem in 22 year-old left back Denver Hume, so is time to cash in on Bryan Oviedo?
Black Cats fans were delighted to keep hold of Oviedo this summer, as the 28-year-old really is a class above most of the players in League One.
Oviedo’s directness and superb delivery make him a real threat to have bombing down the left flank, but the Black Cats may not need him after all.
Reece James has been very impressive since his move from Wigan, and Hume has emerged as a promising prospect in the same position.
Hume has been particularly good in recent games, putting in a fantastic display in the 4-1 win over Rochdale on Saturday.

While Jack Ross brought in several defenders this summer, the Black Cats still look a little weak in the heart of defence, so some fresh funds for a commanding centre back could be vital in the promotion push.
There will be no shortage of Championship clubs sniffing around for his signature, and the form of Hume and James means there is a surplus of left back options at the Stadium of Light.
So, Sunderland fans, should you sell Oviedo in January to fund other moves? Or is he too good to sell? Let us know your thoughts by voting in the poll below…
