Manchester United are in line to receive a hefty windfall as Saudi Arabia have tabled a €90 million offer for Marseille star Mason Greenwood.

Greenwood joined Marseille last summer on a five-year deal from Manchester United and has largely impressed in France thus far. The 23-year-old forward has already scored 17 goals in 30 appearances across all competitions for the Ligue 1 side and has also provided four assists.

The ex-United star is now attracting interest from Saudi Arabia, with a €90 million (£76.5m/$100m) offer now on the table for the Marseille star ahead of the summer window, according to . If Greenwood does end up leaving the Ligue 1 club, there is a clause in his contract that stipulates United will receive half of his future sale value. This means that United will receive €45m from Greenwood's transfer to the Middle East if it goes through.

Greenwood has been linked with a move away from Marseille in the upcoming transfer window, however, claims that the player is happy at the club and wants to continue to play in Europe, despite the lucrative Saudi offer. Marseille boss Roberto De Zerbi reportedly adores the young attacker and has vowed to make him an all-time great, despite recently criticising him in public and dropping him to the bench.
